We are a group of diverse, ordinary people, seeking to follow and serve Christ in our community and surrounding area. Most of us live in Lazonby village. We come from a variety of Christian backgrounds, and also warmly welcome anyone who is wanting to find out more about knowing Jesus in their life.
As well as SUNDAY SERVICES, ( see "services and events"), our Christian community life is expressed in many other ways:-
For FAMILIES with children under 11, we have a flourishing ‘T break' family club running on alternate Thursdays after school in term time. A small group gathers for Prayers of blessings on the community on Friday mornings from 9 to 9:30 AM, (usually outdoors), and again for prayer and sharing most Tuesday evenings, (indoors!) . Once a month on a Tuesday evening we meet for "Food for Thought" - BIBLE STUDY and discussion. For details of all these, see "Services and Events" by scrolling down the menu, or contact Neil and Judith Kennedy on 01768 898431.
At EDEN COURT sheltered accommodation, there is coffee and chat on the first Wednesday of the month, and a short communion service on the first Thursday morning of the month, followed by refreshments. All are welcome to both these events, whether or not they live in Eden Court. For more details contact Lis Knipe on (01768) 898569
If you are interested in BELLRINGING, there is a rehearsal on Wednesday evenings at the church - contact Michael Allison on (01768) 898806
